Ford has long been known for their performance and fuel economy in all models manufactured. The only car manufactured by Ford known to have serious issues was the Tempo, which has since been discontinued. However, Ford has been most well known for two models—trucks, and the Mustang.
Ask any construction worker, handy man, or all around cow boy and he will tell you that nothing beats a Ford truck. In fact, it is considered almost a crime to purchase a truck from anywhere but Ford car dealers in many circles, especially in the Midwest. There are several reasons for this trend toward buying trucks from Ford car dealers.

First, trucks purchased through Ford car dealers tend to hold up better than other manufacturers. The truck purchased new through a Ford car dealer will need nothing other than routine maintenance until long after the warranty expires. These trucks are also more durable in a car accident, and are less likely to roll over than trucks bought through other car dealers.
Second, trucks purchased through Ford car dealers tend to haul better than other manufacturers. Most of the trucks built by Ford can haul another truck of the same make and model. That is a lot of weight! Even older models of trucks bought through Ford car dealers will hold up under tremendous pressure during hauling or towing.
Third, trucks purchased through Ford car dealers are mostly manufactured in the Heartland. The most prominent Ford car plants are in Claycomo, Missouri and Illinois. The fact that someone they know probably had a hand in making, transporting, or selling the truck is a big reason that many people in the Midwest buy trucks from Ford car dealers.
Ford car dealers were the first in many things. Ford car dealers offered the first motor cars. Ford car dealers offered the first trucks. Ford car dealers offered the Mustang, one of America’s favorite muscle and race cars. Ford car dealers have, overall, gained the respect of most of America, and the world.
One more reason that most people buy trucks from Ford car dealers is that all of the parts for Ford trucks are made in the United States of America. The trucks themselves are built at Ford plants throughout the United States of America. Ford car dealers are one of the few car dealers that actually offer completely American made trucks. In today’s patriotic society, and with an economy being dragged down by labor being shipped overseas, this is a huge reason for the success of many Ford car dealers today.
